오늘 총 8개의 어플을 소개하겠다. 4개의 어플은 어제 트위터(Twitter)를 통해 알린 어플이며, 나머지 4개는 오늘 추가한 어플이다. 무료 어플에 대한 소식 중 급하게 유료로 바뀔 가능성이 있는 어플은 트위터를 통해 먼저 알린다. 따라서 이런 소식을 조금 더 빨리 알고 싶다면 트위터 가이드를 읽고 팔로하기 바란다. 트위터로는 글을 통해 소개하기 힘든 100명 한정, 한시간만 무료와 같을 어플도 올리기 때문이다.

참고로 어제 올린 FlipBrowser는 정말 아까운 어플이었다. 총 30개 사이트를 사파리(Safari)의 답 사이트처럼 등록할 수 있기 때문에 자주 가는 사이트를 방문할 때는 정말 괜찮은 브라우져였다. 또 이런 북마크 사이를 이동할 수 있는 기능, 아이팟 터치(iPod Touch)에서 빈틈없는 전체화면으로 볼 수 있는 기능까지 유용한 기능이 많았다. 한글을 완벽하게 지원해서 개발자를 확인해 보니 역시 한국 사람이었다.

먼저 Wifi Flash Drive by LoopTek는 이름에서 알 수 있듯이 아이팟 터치(iPod Touch)나 아이폰(iPhone)을 와이파이를 이용, 저장 매체로 사용할 수 있는 어플이다. 웹 브라우저를 통해 접근하는 방식을 택하고 있어 조금 불편하다. 평상시 2불, 48시간 동안 무료로 제공된다. 205 National Flags, Maps, and Statistic은 205개 나라의 국기, 지도, 통계를 보여주는 어플이다. 국가에 대한 개괄적인 정보를 볼 때 유용하다. 평상시 1불, 이번 주까지 무료로 제공된다.

WhatsApp Messenger는 조금 특이한 어플이다. 보통을 SMS 어플은 인터넷 사이트를 통해 무제한 무료 SMS를 제공한다. 이 어플은 아이폰 인증을 통해 아이폰끼리 무료 SMS를 제공하는 어플이다. 실제 내 휴대폰으로 인증코드를 전송해본 결과 한국 휴대폰으로도 인증 코드는 잘 전송됐다. 평상시 1불, 제한된 시간 동안 무료로 제공된다. Fishy는 간단한 게임 어플이다. 물고기를 중력 센서를 이용해서 움직여 다른 물고기를 먹는 게임이다. 평상시 2불, 소개를 목적으로 무료로 제공된다.

FreerText는 Free iPhone/iPod Instant Messaging and SMS Send라는 부제에서 알 수 있듯이 아이폰이나 아이팟 터치에서 무료로 SMS를 보낼 수 있도록 하는 어플이다. 평상시 1불, 이번 주까지 무료로 제공되며 FreerText 계정이 있어야 사용할 수 있다.
